My Frontpage

I was born 1941 in Helsinki and sense I have been living my adult life in Espoo. I have been married since 1960 with the same man. We have 2 sons , both have been prosperous, the elder with 4 children, 3 sons and 1 daughter and the younger with 1 son.

We also have an old cat, borned 1994, by the name Missu.

I was a so called "war child". Today we call them refuges. Finnish children were sent to Sweden, Norway and Denmark during the war 1939-1945. The number was about 70.000. For most of us it was traumative, although I had the fortune to be swedish speaking originally.

My interests are searching for ancestors, photography, computers, gardening, crochetting and reading.
